MAGA MUSICA
MUSICIAN & SONGWRITER
The freedom to love yourself in your most authentic and truest expression.
WELCOME
Through my music and workshops, I support individuals in reconnecting with their voice, cultivating self-love and full acceptance, self reflection and expressing themselves with freedom.
Who is Maga?
Hello! My name is Melanie, and I go by Maga Musica in my creative work as a musician and artist.

The name “MAGA” was born from “Magia,” the Spanish word for magic. In the early days, when I was creating music with a full band, we called ourselves Magia, which was a reflection of the enchantment we felt in every note we played together.
But as I prepared to share my music with the world, Magic didn’t quite feel like home anymore, not for me, and not for Melanie either. It was during this moment of transition that the name MAGA emerged.
This name carries a deep, personal resonance. It holds within it a powerful energy, confidence, courage, and creative freedom. Maga became more than a name, it became a reminder to trust in my voice, to stand in my truth, and to offer my art with an open heart.

I was born and raised in Argentina, but I've been travelling the whole world for the last 10 years, so I feel a bit like a wandering fairy around the Earth.

My love for music began when I started singing lessons at the age of 14, and from that moment on, I never stopped. While teaching yoga as my main job for many years, music started to weave its way into my life more and more, beginning as a hobby and slowly transforming into a calling.
Eventually, I realized my deepest dream was to dedicate my life fully to music, to live for it, with it, and through it. That realization led me to take a leap of faith. I began offering singing lessons and sharing my music at various events and spaces, including Kirtan sessions with Josh and performances of my own music and medicine music.

That leap was five years ago, and without a doubt, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Over the past decade, I’ve also trained as a dance teacher in Argentina and Australia and completed 400 hours of yoga instructor training in India. These experiences have allowed me to deeply integrate body, movement, sound, and emotion, embracing the human being as an interconnected whole.
Nowadays, I serve humanity through my music and sessions. I teach singing through private and group sessions, music workshops, movement and dancing workshops, kirtan, music shows with my own compositions, cacao ceremonies and retreats.
